how to validate and save the results of a textbox when I change to another tab on a tabcontrol?I have found the Selected Index Changed and Lost Focus but they do not tell what was the tab that has been previously selected, so I then can do that validation and save.

If they are different, then I would want the validating/validate events to fire. I can't seem to figure out how to suppress the event. If the _cache is the same, then I don't want to raise the event to the form.If needed, you can use separate in-place editors for both tasks. When end-users focus cells, Spin Edit editors replace progress bars, which provide a more straightforward way of modifying cell values. Instead of in-place data editing, end-users can modify grid records by using an Edit Form. Clicking on a button, or entering some text in a text box, or clicking on a menu item, all are examples of events. Text = "tutorialspont.com" End Sub Private Sub txt ID_Mouse Enter(sender As Object, e As Event Args)_ Handles txt ID. Mouse Leave 'code for handling mouse leave on ID textbox txt ID.

An event is an action that calls a function or may cause another event. There are mainly two types of events − Public Class Form1 Private Sub Form1_Load(sender As Object, e As Event Args) Handles My Base. Mouse Enter 'code for handling mouse enter on ID textbox txt ID.

Events are basically a user action like key press, clicks, mouse movements, etc., or some occurrence like system generated notifications. Blue End Sub Private Sub txt Name_Mouse Enter(sender As Object, e As Event Args) _ Handles txt Name. Mouse Leave 'code for handling mouse leave on Name textbox txt Name.
